NATIONAL MODEL UNITED NATIONS 2007:

 

National Model Untied Nations (NMUN) is the most authentic Model United Nations experience possible, thanks to its 4000 delegatesand faculty members from over 65 different countries. NMUN adpoted its present form in 1946, after the creation of the United Nations. Hosted in New York City, United States of America each spring, thrity eight simulated committees of the United Nations and other international organizations gather to discuss the issues currently facing the international community. Through lively and informed debate, exciting social events, and a unique conference spirit, the NMUN experience reaches across cultures and borders to inspire both cooperation, resolutions and friendship. The United Nations Headquarters is the traditional site for both Opening and Closing Ceremonies and final plenary sessions.
